With the financial assistance of the Deutsche Bank Pyramid Award scheme, Consortium5 were able to purchase a set of nine 'Bassano' consort
recorders made by Adriana Breukink. C5 also actively commissions new works from young
composers that explore the limits and possibilities of this set of renaissance instruments.
C5 also plays on contemporary and replica baroque recorders by various other makers, including Schwob, Ehlert, Blezinger, Grinter, Musch,
Takeyama, Rohmer and von Huene.
