Friday 10th June 2017 Stroud Green Early Music Festival – Family Friendly Play Day  RECORDER WORKSHOP WITH ROSELYN MAYNARD AND GAIL MACLEOD OF CONSORTIUM5 (FAMILY FRIENDLY)

Dust off that recorder and come and join us! Do your children play recorder? Did you learn the recorder at school? Participants will be divided into groups according to experience.

Whether you are an experienced player or wanting to start to play the recorder again, come and join leading recorder players. Can lead to an opportunity for participants to join Consortium5 in a concert on Friday 16 June if they wish.

Recorder concert with Consortium5 with adults from the 10 June workshop and children from St Aidan’s School.

Musicians have long moved between, beyond and despite borders. Consortium5 celebrate composers of Renaissance and Baroque Europe who struck out in search of study, support, expertise and inspiration. Including works by Victoria, Dowland, Bassano and Handel.
